ターゲット情報 :

This assay employs the quantitative sandwich enzyme immunoassay technique for the quantitative detection of mouse IL-17A. The Mouse IL-17A High Sensitivity ELISA is for research use only. Not for diagnostic or therapeutic procedures.
Interleukin 17 (IL-17) , also known as IL-17A and CTLA-8, is a homodimeric cytokine of about 32 kDa. IL-17 is a cytokine that acts as a potent mediator in delayed-type reactions by increasing chemokine production in various tissues to recruit monocytes and neutrophils to the site of inflammation, similar to IFN-γ. IL-17 is produced by T-helper cells and is induced by IL-23 which results in destructive tissue damage in delayed-type reactions. IL-17 as a family functions as a proinflammatory cytokine that responds to the invasion of the immune system by extracellular pathogens and induces destruction of the pathogen’s cellular matrix. IL-17 acts synergistically with TNF and IL-1.
IL-17 family has been linked to many immune/autoimmune related diseases including rheumatoid arthritis, asthma, lupus, allograft rejection, anti-tumour immunity and recently Psoriasis.Increased levels of IL-17 have been associated with several conditions, including airway inflammation, rheumatoid arthritis, intraperitoneal abscesses and adhesions, inflammatory bowel disease, allograft rejection, psoriasis, cancer and multiple sclerosis.
